“Spirit Of Gold”, Trumpet Player, Joel Walden Departs Nashville’s Radisson Hotel December 31st, 2008
By Betsy Thorpe
Every year, in the days leading up to the Music City Bowl, Nashville’s Opryland Hotel plays host to the teams invited to play in the bowl. The competing schools marching bands and many fans from both teams stay at the nearby Gaylord Radisson Hotel and participate in the pre-game festivities.
This years hotel guests included fans, alumni and students from Boston College and Nashville’s Vanderbilt University, including Vanderbilt’s “Spirit Of Gold” marching band.
