The Dickson County Public Library provides local residents free access to information, life-long learning, and knowledge. The library provides materials, programs, information, and technology that supports a wide range of community and individual interests. The library also provides the citizens of Dickson County engaged in independent learning access to materials and services needed in the pursuit of their personal educational goals.
The library offers twelve computer stations for public use, as well as wireless access and is part of the Connected Tennessee Project, an effort to make broadband internet access available and affordable to the entire state.
The library’s children section holds more than 25,000 items,including books, movies, and music, and four computers loaded with a variety of educational games for designed preschool children.
The Dickson County Library is located at 206 Henslee Drive and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm Sunday: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
